The nephew of famed Stampede Wrestling villain The Great Gama, Raj Dhesi was trained by his uncle and made his start in the Western Canada independent scene as part of the New Karachi Vice with his cousin, Gama Singh Jr. In 2011, he joined the WWE as Jinder Mahal, where he had a lengthy career over the next decade, which saw him rise from comedy act in 3MB to WWE World Champion, before his departure in 2024. One of the top big men in the game, he combines size with great power, and a confidence that backs up his game. “The Maharaja” is now reclaiming his honour on the world stage, from Canadian independent to international showcases, and part of that journey is at MAPLE LEAF PRO Wrestling.
