“the quintessential diva” has become one of the top women’s wrestlers to emerge from canada in the past decade, after training with lance storm at the storm wrestling academy in calgary, alberta in 2014. she got her start in the western canada independent scene before heading to the united kingdom to enter the hot “brit wres” scene, including runs with revolution pro, pro wrestling eve, progress, and many more, where she captured gold, as a two-time revolution pro undisputed british women’s champion, progress women’s champion, and eve tag team champion. she returned to north america and signed with tna wrestling 2022, where she was a perennial contender for the tna knockouts world championship, with title shots against the likes of deonna purrazzo, mickie james, and jordynne grace. she departed tna wrestling in early 2025. but the future is bright for gisele shaw, who captured the inaugural mlp women’s canadian championship at northern rising in toronto at the historic mattamy athletic centre (formerly maple leaf gardens), showing the grit and determination that makes up maple leaf pro wrestling.
