It’s getting hot at the top, as the Interim MLP Canadian Championship picture begins to shape up! Here’s how the second episode of MLP Mayhem went down!

LETHAL TWIST PULL OFF THE VICTORY OVER PSYCHO MIKE’S SQUAD

Psycho Mike brought an all-star team featuring AEW’s Billy Gunn and former WWE Superstar Zach Gowen to the fight on Wednesday, but ultimately it was chemistry over experience as The Lethal Twist pulled off the victory. Led by Jay Lethal, who scored the victory over Psycho Mike, who was joined by The Swirl’s Lee Johnson and Blake Christian, The Lethal Twist have arrived in MLP with something to prove!

The protege of WWE Hall of Famer Bret “Hitman” Hart is one of the bright young stars of MAPLE LEAF PRO!

SUBCULTURE SCORES HUGE WIN IN MLP DEBUT

SUBCULTURE’s tandem of Mark Andrews and Flash Morgan Webster showed why they’ve starred around the world with such companies as WWE and TNA Wrestling, picking up a hard fought win over one of Canada’s finest squads, Fight or Flight’s Vaughn Vertigo and Gabriel Fuerza. Sure to say, we haven’t seen the last of either team!

TAYLOR RISING DEFEATS ALEXIA NICOLE

Taylor Rising has been fighting her way through the ranks of MAPLE LEAF PRO over the past year and a half, most often at the expense of others. Last night, she scored a huge victory on her path, defeating Canadian indie veteran Alexia Nicole in singles action. Once again, MLP Women’s Canadian Champion Gisele Shaw sat in on commentary, again disparaging SUBCULTURE’s Dani Luna.

ROHAN RAJA DEFENDS AGAINST UNO, GRAYSON EXPLODES

In the main event, “Ravenous” Rohan Raja fought off a valiant attack from AEW’s Evil Uno to retain his PWA Champions Grail, but it was the post-match moments that resonated loudest across the country. Following a post-victory beat down of his opponent, Evil Uno, “The Ravenous One” was treated to a rundown from Uno’s longtime tag team partner, and Interim MLP Canadian Champion, Stu Grayson.

Following the melee, Grayson responded to Rohan’s challenge from the previous week for a shot at Grayson’s Canadian title, but only on one condition: that Rohan put the Champions Grail on the line as well!

ADAM COPELAND HAS ANSWERED THE CALL!

Earlier this week, MLP President Scott D’Amore made a call to a friend for MLP Northern Rising in Toronto at the Mattamy Athletic Centre (formerly Maple Leaf Gardens) on October 3, and on Wednesday night, the call was answered! Former 11-time World Champion and AEW Superstar Adam Copeland is heading to Toronto for Northern Rising!
