MLP MAYHEM Preview: Wednesday July 22

MLP Mayhem has made its presence known and now the action continues with the second week of Mayhem action on Wednesday, July 22 at Midnight ET/9PM PT on TSN2.

Johnny TV has gone by many names over his career – including John Morrison, Johnny Impact, Johnny Nitro, and many more – but no matter the name, he always brings the thunder in explosive action! On Wednesday night, Johnny TV steps into the ring against the whirlwind TJP, who makes his return to MAPLE LEAF PRO. Will Johnny TV score the victory in his MLP debut, or will TJP spoil the former TNA World Champion’s arrival?

The MLP Canadian Tag Team titles are on the line, as 1st Faction sends Sheldon Jean and Brent Banks to the ring to defend the gold in international competition. Facing 1st Faction will be a duo from CMLL in Mexico, featuring Mexican National Welterweight Champion Capitán Suicida and Máscara Dorada, the World Historic Welterweight Champion, CMLL World Trios Champion, and Ring of Honor (ROH) Tag Team Champion. The two luchadors hold a lot of championships already – will they be adding Canadian gold to their trophy cases?

She’s one of the hottest free agents in pro wrestling and now Dani Luna of SubCulture has arrived in MAPLE LEAF PRO to join the hunt for Gisele Shaw’s MLP Women’s Canadian Championship. Her first stop will be against a rising young star from the Canadian indepedent circuit in Vanna Black. Will Dani Luna make her presence known to the Canadian fans or will Vanna Black step up and make her own impact felt in MLP?
