Some new blood entered the realm of MAPLE LEAF PRO and Stu Grayson cemented his legacy, as MLP Mayhem concludes our eighth week of action!
THE ACE IS BACK!
It was an absolute clinic between former Ring of Honor World Champion Jonathan Gresham and former three-time TNA X-Division Champion Ace Austin, with moves from all arsenals on display. In the end, it was Ace Austin with the quick victory, but what a fight!
JODY THREAT IS IN MAPLE LEAF PRO!
A former two-time TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Champion, Jody Threat has been one of Canada’s best independent wrestlers of the past decade. Now “The Wild Child” has arrived in MAPLE LEAF PRO and she started her journey with an impressive victory over Canadian indie veteran Alexia Nicole.
STEVE MACLIN RESPONDS TO ADAM COPELAND!
Adam Copeland may not have appeared on MLP Mayhem last week, but he definitely watched at home! And he heard the words that Steve Maclin said about Canadian wrestlers. A few days ago, Cope told Maclin to watch his mouth and meet him at MLP Northern Rising in Toronto on October 3. It was quick to draw a response from Maclin! He was ready for a fight!
GOWEN’S STILL GOT IT!
It’s been many years since he was a WWE Superstar, but Michigan veteran Zach Gowen proved he still had what he takes, when he finally shut up the mouth of Michael Allen Richard Clark, after the latter had been trash-talking Gowen on commentary in previous weeks.
STU GRAYSON STANDS TALL AS INTERIM CANADIAN CHAMPION!
Johnny TV has won world championships around the world but for now, the MLP Canadian Championship will continue to elude him. It was a hard fought battle between both men, but in the end, it was Stu Grayson who pulled out the win to retain his MLP Interim Canadian Championship!
After the match, Stu Grayson called out MLP Canadian Champion Josh Alexander and his recent return!
