MLP RESURRECTION is TONIGHT LIVE on on TRILLER TV from Le Colisée de Laval in Montreal, Quebec!

At MLP Northern Rising, the French-Canadian Frankenstein, “Perfect Creation One” PCO, was on fire in the 20-Man Championship Gauntlet, eliminating opponent after opponent in his quest to become the new MLP Canadian Champion. But destiny had other plans.

In a shocking turn of events, former Ring of Honor star Dan Maff, accompanied by Jimmy Jacobs, threw a fireball in PCO’s face, followed by a vicious assault that left PCO helpless—leading to his unceremonious elimination by QT Marshall.

Now, PCO is looking for revenge against his old ROH rival. On July 5 in Montreal, at MLP Resurrection, PCO—alongside his manager Destro—will face off against Dan Maff (with Jimmy Jacobs in his corner) in a House of Pain Match.

But after another attack at Quebec’s NSPW, MLP President Scott D’Amore has decided that this match for the prestigious Montreal International Championship needs order. So he’s brought in WWE Hall of Famer and AEW star Billy Gunn as Special Guest Referee!

This isn’t about professional wrestling anymore. This time, it’s personal.

In his first defense of the MLP Canadian Championship, “Walking Weapon” Josh Alexander returns to Maple Leaf Pro to put his newly-won title on the line against former three-time TNA X-Division Champion Ace Austin. It marks their first major encounter since their 2021 feud in TNA over the X-Division Championship.

Ace Austin is not only a three-time X-Division Champion but also a former three-time TNA World Tag Team Champion alongside Chris Bey in the ABC Club. Now that Austin has departed TNA, he’s returning to his singles roots and looking to make a statement at MLP Resurrection—that he’s back, and he’s coming for gold.

Josh Alexander may have landed in AEW, but he is Canadian through and through—and part of the very DNA of Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling. He will fight tooth and nail to keep the MLP Canadian Championship around his waist and in Canada.

Gisele Shaw made history at MLP Northern Rising in Toronto by defeating Kylie Rae to become the inaugural MLP Women’s Canadian Champion. On July 5, she puts her title on the line against former WWE Superstar Shotzi Blackheart in what is sure to be a physical affair.

Shotzi has a lot to prove, but so does Gisele, who is determined to keep her championship gold. Gisele has already made one successful defense in a rematch against Kylie Rae on June 14 in Windsor, and now she’s thrust into defending again—this time against one of the most unpredictable opponents she’s ever faced: “The Ballsy Bad-Ass” Shotzi Blackheart!

On February 12, 2022, Matt Cardona defeated Trevor Murdoch to become the NWA World’s Heavyweight Champion, cementing his legacy as one of the few men to hold the Ten Pounds of Gold. He carried the title for 119 days—until a brutal bicep injury sidelined him, forcing him to relinquish the title. He was never pinned. He was never submitted.

On July 5, 2025, at Le Colisée de Laval in Montreal, “The Complete” Matt Cardona will get his opportunity to reclaim the title he never lost when he steps into the ring with the reigning and current NWA World Champion Thom Latimer at MLP Resurrection!

Latimer is currently over 270 days into his reign and, after hard-fought title defenses in Maple Leaf Pro against Bishop Dyer at MLP Mayhem and Stu Grayson at MLP Northern Rising, he may now be facing his toughest fight yet.

“Ravenous” Rohan Raja won the prestigious Champion’s Grail at the inaugural MLP event Forged in Excellence in October of last year. Since then, he has defended it globally—in Qatar, Australia, India, and across Canada. After being denied the chance to prove his dominance at MLP Northern Rising, Raja issued an open challenge for Montreal.

That challenge was answered in a major way—by none other than former MLW World Champion Alex Hammerstone, who will make his Maple Leaf Pro debut in this massive match with major title implications. Can Hammerstone once again taste gold, this time in the Great White North?

Since their departure from WWE earlier this year, the veteran duo of “Machine Gun” Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows—two Bullet Club originals—have been on a mission to cleanse the club of the poison within.

It began at NJPW Resurgence in Ontario, California, when they teamed with The Young Bucks to defeat the Bullet Club War Dogs (David Finlay, Gabe Kidd, Clark Connors, & Gedo). The next night at MLP Northern Rising, Anderson and Gallows went to war with Finlay and Drilla Moloney in a match that ended in a chaotic no contest.

On July 5 in Montreal, the two teams will collide once again—this time to settle the score and determine the true legacy of the Bullet Club.

In a wild six-man Scramble Match, AEW Star “Speedball” Mike Bailey returns to MAPLE LEAF PRO action, joined by “The Octopus” Jonathan Gresham and the debut of NJPW Star TJP! Rounding out the action are three young talents who have been making waves in MAPLE LEAF PRO, former TNA Star Bhupinder Gujjar, Western Canada’s Michael Allen Richard Clark, and the Master of the Body Slam, Psycho Mike!

With a diversity of styles in this match-up, we’re sure to see an explosive outburst of offence, from the technical to the high flying, and of course, Body Slams!

One of the hottest indie feuds of the past year hits its climax in Maple Leaf Pro!

Ottawa’s Sheldon Jean and Quebec’s Stu Grayson are no strangers to each other, having first clashed in 2018. Over the past year, the two have been locked in a brutal rivalry in Ottawa’s C*4 Wrestling, with Jean holding a 3–1 record in their last four encounters.

Now, fresh off his loss to Thom Latimer at MLP Northern Rising, Stu Grayson has accepted Jean’s challenge to resume their war on the MLP stage.

And it all goes down Saturday, July 5, at MLP Resurrection!
